Harley (also known as Jimmy) moved to Burnley in Lancashire with his brother Arthur
(also known as Harry) to work on the construction of reservoirs .
Harley married Nellie Maddran but there is no evidence of any children. In 1953 he
attended the funeral of Elijah accompanied by Myrtle, however nothing is known of that relationship.
Arthur married Nellie's sister, Elizabeth Jane Maddren in 1922. It is not known
when Nellie died, but is believed she died in her forties after having an accident at work which caused a brain tumour. Arthur survived in to his eighties.
